Children's Ministry

Growing Up in Christ

Our Children’s Ministry seeks to nurture the seeds of faith growing in every child as they  walk in The Way of Jesus.

Grow in Service

At Northlake, we believe children can do great things! We encourage them to learn the way of Jesus through authentic service.

Grow in Learning

We offer Bible classes for children, starting at 9 months old, about God’s great story and His love for them.

Grow in Worship

Our children are a special part of our congregation during worship service and during their own worship time.

A Sense of Belonging

Growing up at Northlake extends beyond programs and camps.
Kids learn early on they are an important part of their church through forming relationships, participating in church life, and being recognized by the larger church community.

Questions?

The Gospel of Mark

Where did the Magi come from? Who was King Herod? How did betrothal and marriage work in the time of Jesus, and how did that affect Mary and Joseph? When the authors of the Gospels told the story of Jesus’ birth, they assumed a wealth of background information that their audiences shared, but that modern American readers are unfamiliar with. This class will explore “the stories behind The Story,” and how the historical setting and background of the birth narratives helps us see the Nativity in a new light.
