Day of Remembrance

On Wednesday, November 1, churches all over the world will take time to remember the “great cloud of witnesses” that faithfully served and witnessed in their local church. These beloved from our Northlake family will be forever a part of the communion that binds us together as the Body of Christ.

In the wake of an unprecedented season of trauma during COVID and a year when Northlake has been grieved by so many losses, we believe the space to collectively grieve through reflection and worship is especially timely. We will be gathering for a special service at Northlake to remember, through a time of worship, the “great cloud of witnesses” that surrounds our church family as we journey through life and death together. Please plan to join us for this special evening of worship.

Please bring photographs in picture frames of beloved Christian witnesses that you want to be remembered as part of our service that day. If you would like to bring these photos in preparation before November 1, you may give these pictures directly to Paul Mvukiye-Reeser or one of our other ministers, so we can keep these precious memories safe.
